I have several bad habits that I am trying to break
biting my nails. My nails are sooooo short that they are just gross
cursing I curse like a sailor. I have gotten better and say fudgeface intstead of fuckhead but the occassional fuckity fuck shithead fucker comes out a lot
cracking my knuckles. my fingers are so swollen from cracking them it’s unbelievable. There are some times that I just can’t help it, they crack sometimes just when I bend my fingers. I sit on one of my hands whenever possible to help stop it, but that’s not always feasible when I’m doing certain things like typing, working, whatever. Although I drive w/ one hand so my right hand is always under my leg (that’s a habit from when I couldn’t lift my arm to the steering wheel and it just got comfortable to drive like that. I do use both hands as well like when the Princess yells at me, or when turning or stuff)
here’s where I call out to the PRB for help.
what are actual ways to attempt to break the habits.
I have tried the nail stuff that tastes like crap, and bit it off, I tried manicures and bit the nails off
I tried a curse jar, but I always forgot to put money in it.

As I mentioned in my last post or maybe two posts ago, I finished one cycle of my paralegal classes and started the 2nd cycle. I got my grades and did really well in the first cycle.
My new teacher is very nice, but he has a very heavy accent and is a low talker. I am able to figure out what he is saying most of the time. If I can’t the other girl in the class is usually able to (did I mention there are 2 of us in the class) The problem is that he is an attorney and explains everything in legal terms, which is fine for me, but I am a literal learner. I have to put stuff into my own language, usually using I and you for examples to explain stuff.
Ex: In Federal Court v. Superiour Court if something is adjudicated in PA, but occured in NJ, the Federal Court will hold the NJ regulation - WHAT!
In English You and I are in a car accident. In NJ there are no left on red lights it’s NJ statute In PA you can make left on red from one way street to one way street. I live in NJ, you are in PA I decided to sue you in Federal Court which I can do because you are in PA (state to state can go Federal) but because the accident happened in NJ, you are still held to NJ law of No Left on red
It’s a tad easier to understand my way but it took 30 minutes for me to understand him to explain it my way.
(I don’t know if that makes sense to anyone else, but it did to me and my classmate)
I am gonna do well in this class mainly because it’s learning stuff I do everyday at work
Speaking of work, I tweeted that I sent out another resume. I hope to hear from them. I found 3 more jobs that I need to send out.
Also I realized that as much as i complain about how much I hate my job, I don’t I like my job. I like the legal and medical aspect. I don’t like not having the autonomy to work. I don’t like having to go to 16 people to discuss something and getting 16 diferent plans of action, none of which will work.
and in other other news, I went to Starbucks and got complimented on my Jewish Star
It’s not huge, but it’s noticable yet, tons of people ask me if I’m Jewish. Aside from MY NAME being really Jewish, I look Jewish, I sound Jewish and HELLO – BIG HONKING JEWISH STAR around my neck.

I finished my first half of paralegal classes, the terminolgy, different types of law that stuff. I was told I got 90-100′s in all the classes. On Monday, we start HOW TO BE A PARALEGAL. That’s not the name of the classes but really, it’s what it is -how to do the research, do the briefs, type the reports that stuff. The only problem - the teacher is a low talker and has a heavy Nigerian accent. He’s licensed in 6 states and Nigeria to practice law Why he isn’t practicing is beyond me.
My sister lost her call phone so I gave her my old one. She got it turned on yesterday and has internet on it. Now I have to teach her how to use it. (how to locate stuff, use the keys, etc.)
She also got a new MacBook Pro. Now everyone but me has one My sister, Laeeq Robin. So jealous but when I get a new computer in a year or so, I will have a nicer shinier newer upgraded Mac so I will suck it up for a while.
With the Macbook – an 8 gig I-touch for free. The Princess is happy since she steals mine all the time to do drawing games. She’s figured out how to do stuff on my i-touch that I haven’t figured out yet Kids are amazing.
That’s all that’s going on I work, I go to school I sleep.
I am going to a bachelor/bachelorette party in a few weeks. Then the wedding shortly after that.
and that’s my life. So exciting isn’t it.

because I can’t get this into coherent thoughts
- I was playing computer games this morning on my laptop (apparently you can play for an hour free and then decide if you want to buy the game – awesome) when all of a sudden I was like – holy crap Michael Jackson is dead. It was a total wtf moment. – mainly because I haven’t voluntarily listened to an MJ song since Thriller. I only listened if I heard him on the radion (which I don’t listen to anymore, thank’s i-pod) on MTV, which use to play videos, or if his music was in a movie. so total WTF moment -I don’t care he’s dead
- I have been playing a lot of computer games – mainly hidden object games (king.com or bigfish.com) and have been using up the battery on my computer a lot
- I was gonna go to A/C today but then realized I don’t feel like driving. My sister and the Princess will probably come here and hang out and we will bbq and watch fireworks
- I read a book yesterday. I might try that again since I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Amazon. I love Amazon
- I have to go to Target (again)
- I have to go to the Apple Store and return something.
And that’s it for now.
